Teacher Training at University of Gothenburg

The Programme for Teacher Training is the largest programme at University of Gothenburg , with about 4500 students. The Education and Research Board for Teacher Training is responsible for the programme and the education is held within most of the university.

The length of the Programme for Teacher Training is between 180-330 ECTS. For students having sufficient studies in one or several subjects or education and experience in a professional field already, the university gives The Short Programme, general education field, 90 ECTS.

There are also supplementary education for working teachers and post-graduate studies.
